Account & Data Deletion

Delete your account and associated data

App: The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Rewards (shown on your phone as CBTL) · Developer: Table Group Inc.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Request it with the form below — it takes about a minute. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason. Deletion happens in two stages, explained below: your account is closed first, then permanently deleted.

Request deletion

  1. Enter the email you registered with

We’ll send a one-time code to it. This is how we confirm the request is really yours.

  2. Enter the code and confirm

Your request is filed with our support team straight away, and we email you a reference number. Your account is closed within 30 days, and we email you again when that is done.

Can’t receive email at that address any more? Write to tasservices@tablegroup.com.ph with your full name and registered mobile number and we’ll verify you another way.

What happens after you ask

Stage 1 — your account is closed (within 30 days of verification)

Stage 2 — your account is permanently deleted (after 6 months)

Once your account has been closed for 6 months, it is permanently deleted automatically, together with the data listed below, unless the exception further down applies. The waiting period protects you against a mistaken or fraudulent request: if you change your mind before then, contact us and we can reopen your account with your stamps intact.

Important: once your account is permanently deleted, any unredeemed stamps and any reward on a partially filled card are lost. They cannot be restored, and a new account starts from zero.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted permanently at Stage 2

DataDetails
Account profileYour name, email address and mobile number.
Login credentialsYour password (stored only as a one-way hash) and your member record.
Verification codesOne-time email codes issued for sign-in verification.
Loyalty stamp cardsYour stamp cards, their progress, and every stamp recorded on them.
Member QR codeThe scannable code that links in-store scans to you. It already stops working at Stage 1.
Data on your phoneThe app keeps a copy of your cards and history on your phone so it works offline. Deleting the app from your phone removes it. On iPhone, a few sign-in items held in the phone’s secure keychain can remain after the app is deleted; they stop working once your account is closed at Stage 1.

Exception: accounts that have redeemed a reward

A redeemed reward, or a voucher used as payment, is a settled financial transaction — an item left a store's inventory — and we keep it as a financial record. If your account has any, it is still closed exactly as described in Stage 1: you cannot sign in and your member QR code stops working. At Stage 2 your login and password are deleted and your name, email address and mobile number are erased. What remains is the redemption history and the stamp cards those rewards were redeemed from, kept as financial records and no longer linked to you.

Kept, and for how long

DataRetention period
Your closed account, while it waits for permanent deletion 6 months from the date it was closed, in the restricted archive. Then permanently deleted.
Reward redemptions and voucher payments, with the stamp cards they came from Kept as financial records. At Stage 2 your name, email address and mobile number are erased from them, so they no longer identify you.
A server log entry recording that your account was permanently deleted, including the email address it was registered with Kept with our server logs as a record that the deletion was carried out.
Your deletion request itself and our correspondence about it Kept for up to 12 months as proof that the request was received and honoured, then deleted.
Records subject to an active dispute, fraud investigation, or a legal or regulatory obligation Kept only until that matter is resolved, then deleted.
Encrypted system backups Backups rotate on a rolling cycle, and any residual copy is overwritten within 90 days of permanent deletion. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account.
